Additional Selections under clause 5.14 and 5.25: In the Case of C1 Men and C2 Men, no athlete met the Percentage Performance Standard at Selection Events 3 and 4. However, the Selection Panel determined to select the highest ranked Athletes in these two classes under clause 5.14 to encourage the development of the canoe category. The selection of athletes under clause 5.14 is dependent upon the Athletes demonstrating a suitable performance standard at a training camp in April 2010.

There has been a change the dates of the Junior selection policy to reflect the competition schedule of the Oceania Open. Races 3 and 4 will be run 1 and run 2 respectively of the Qualification Race of the Oceania Open on Friday 19 February and not on the 20 and 21 February as stated originally. AC announcement here.
